If you're sending a mass email to prospective students this between the Monday before Thanksgiving and the Monday after New Year's, the Thursday after Thanksgiving may have been the day to do it.

Why? Well according to our friends at Hubspot, that's the day when the biggest jump in email opens occurs throughout the holiday period.email_-_1.jpg

Holiday emails aside, I thought I would share another tidbit we've been learning. Four years ago, I would have told you to stay away from weekend emails. More recently though, I've been suggesting to clients that they add a weekend message here and there.

According to the data in the report, not on are Sunday's the better weekend day to send messages, but more specifically, Sunday evenings are the time to do it.
